I know the restricted criteria that I defined for potential candidates made the search quite challenging. I had been working with two other organizations on this search for several weeks with no success. I was at first reluctant to involve a third organization because I was concerned that we would just retrace the previous efforts with the same results.
I was impressed with the different direction you took in generating candidate leads. By contacting our customers while maintaining the confidentiality of our organization, you were able to identify four or five candidates that met the criteria. And one by one you located them and helped to facilitate contact with our organization so that a thorough dialogue could occur. I know for two of the candidates the efforts to make that initial contact were substantial. If I remember correctly you had to speak to at least three or four people for each candidate over a period of a few weeks to finally find a contact number.
Once contact had occurred between the candidates and myself, you were there to assist both them and us as we discussed issues that needed to be resolved before moving the process ahead. And the efforts were rewarded. Not only was the search successfully completed, but from our perspective you helped us find the best person to join our organization. Today this person is doing a tremendous job and is already achieving the early success that is so crucial for us in this extremely important market.
